Moto Smartphone set for December Release

November 28, 2008 · Filed Under Mobile Phone News · Comment

Motorola fans will not have long to wait for the release of the Q11 Smartphone, as it will be launched in December ’09.

The handset boasts a full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Moto Q11 will have quad band and will be based on the Windows 6.0 operating system. One negative is the use of slower EDGE technology for data transfer, so the handset may not be the best for internet browsing and downloading.

It should fare better as a music player though, supporting a wide range of music formats such as MIDI and MP3.

Other features include a 3MP camera with digital zoom and LED flash. There is USB connectivity and a microSD slot for memory expansion.
