Sony Ericsson Unveil the Idou
Sony Ericsson have unveiled an exciting new mobile phone at the recent Barcelona Mobile World Congress.
Named Idou the handset is essentially a top quality walkman phone which will deliver high quality sound and video. Sony Ericsson will use this handset to launch what they call Entertainment Unlimited, which will be a new way of delivering multi media content.
The handset itself is visually stunning. The screen, which covers the entire face of the phone, measures an impressive 3.5 inches. The icing on the cake for this powerful phone is the 12MP camera phone, which has Xenon flash.
Release dates are not yet known, but it looks like being 2010 so you have a little longer to wait before owning an Idou. However, first impressions suggest it will be worth the wait!

With its great looks offering an additional plus point this phone simply cannot be beaten and looks set to sell well through the course of 2009.
LG Secret (KF750) Review
The LG Secret is an impressive handset and is worth a look if you are searching for a touch screen mobile phone.
It might be at the higher end of your budget, but is packed full of features and its overall performance is impressive. Navigating through the multi media functions via the touch screen is a doddle, as the screen itself is highly responsive. Unlike other touch screen handsets the glass is tempered and the case is carbon fibre. Both are virtually impossible to scratch and the phone therefore keeps its good looks for longer. The screen looks impressive, thanks to its size (240×230 pixels) and quality of colours.
Game fans will love the pre-installed motion controlled games on offer, which should keep you entertained for ages!
There is a powerful 5MP camera with auto focus and face detection which can capture low-resolution video at 30 frames / second. There is a secondary camera to enable video calling. This phone allows easy transfer of the photos to a PC.
The high price of this handset, at around £275 SIM Free means most people will opt for a contract, where it is offered for free.
The Secret is available on contract with Vodafone, O2, Orange and T-Mobile.
Bargain Nokia with Striking Looks
The Nokia 2630 is a cracking value mobile phone, which will tempt many Pay-As-You-Go customers over the coming months. And who can resist a handset of this quality from a price as low as £35.
Even better is that as this phone is available P-A-Y-G from O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile so the chances are you wont have to change your existing network provider if you want to switch to this handset. You will find this handset with the above providers in outlets such as Argos, Tesco and Carphone Warehouse.
There is a VGA camera onboard, for quick and handy snaps and photo opportunities. Music fans will appreciate the built in FM radio and most will be satisfied with the simple web browser and email application. Other features include voice dialling, a built in loud speaker, Bluetooth and Nokia pre-loaded games.
With a black fascia and keys and a silver case this handset is a real beauty, and looks far classier than its price tag would suggest.
