Finding the most reasonable mobile phone plan is one requirement in choosing mobile phones intelligently. With all those different plans and companies trying to convince you to go with them, you may be forgiven for feeling a little confused by it all but some research will make things clearer.
Of course if you are a heavy user then a monthly mobile phone plan may be a better option for you. For self employed individuals or just heavy phone users then the monthly packages that are available are usually the better option to take.
Just to confuse you more packages that are designed for your geographic location are available in addition to those based on families. As with all things they all have plus points and minus points.
For prepaid cellular phones, the functionality is often limited so the phone and service you choose may not be able to do everything a similar phone can do when paid for monthly. Plans like those designed for small businesses and families have specific advantages if you are in that type of category.
In addition to this, with family plans, it is cheaper to call the other cellular phones included in one billing. There are also discounts for the airtime usage of family members using this particular scheme.
Long distance calls are usually included free as part of the package with National mobile phone plans. You will also not be charged for roaming with this type of plan and this is of huge benefit to business travelers.
If you only require a regional plan then be aware that if you make national calls then these will be chargeable but probably at a discounted rate. Travelers may not find the prepaid option flexible enough for their work; the more traditional mobile phone plane may be more suitable.
To finish; let me remind you that mobile phones are great but that does not mean you have to be attached them twenty four hours a day.
