For a time the mobile phone was perhaps considered a plaything of the wealthy and a tool for businesses but not anymore with it fast becoming the most important piece of technology you can own. Many parents convince themselves that their children must have one for safety but in reality it is usually so the children are not looked down upon by their friends. Mobile phone manufacturers were quick on the uptake of fitting their phones with as many gadgets as possible to ensure a constant demand for these high tech pieces of equipment. It is the number of functions that can be added to the mobile phone that puts it ahead of its land line based cousin. The ring tone and cellular phone wallpaper market (screen background) is huge but it does allow each mobile phone to be customized to suit the user.

In order to make the process as simple as possible, mobile phone users can now get these wallpapers directly from internet sites. You may also transfer images that can be used as a background from one phone to another cellular phone and even the pictures shot from your own mobile phone can be your wallpaper. Additionally, this modern technology also allows a picture taken from a digital camera to function as your phone wallpaper but you will need to upload the image to your phone.

For an even more personal approach to your mobile phone wallpaper then you can insert some witty comment in text form onto the background. However, if your mobile phone does not support uploading backgrounds, do not despair, this does not mean you will not get the benefits of owning a mobile phone. Still, even if your model cannot accept new screen backgrounds, it may well accept ring tones which will give you that personal touch. Alternatively you can always look for a newer model at Argos mobile phones where they have a huge range to choose from. For a small number of mobile phone users, none of this will matter at all because they only need the phone to make calls and the occasional SMS message.

Even sending and receiving text messages do not require any of these functions. You do not need fancy cellular phone wallpapers or ring tones to have a functional phone as there only purpose is to provide the mobile phone with an individual look. Try to bear in mind that not everyone is interested in your life and conversations so as a final point try to think of others when you use your phone. Mobile phone etiquette exhibits your personality, the users personality is more important that your phone having personality.

Even if your phone does not include such high technology and innovative features, if you can turn off your phone during meetings and avoid having to annoy the other person in front of you, you are exhibiting a personality that is intrinsic in you. Good behavior can be catching and yours may lead others to do the same, be different, do not do what others do just because it is easier. In an age where people think about how they look to others a great deal, it is surprising that this has not improved mobile phone etiquette but this means that you can do something to change the situation.
