The original Skypephone was revolutionary, in that it allowed users to call their Skype contacts for free from their mobile. The 3 Skypephone S2 now offers improvements on the original in terms of specs, features and design.

Users can continue to make free Skype calls and IM other Skype users when they sign up to one of 3’s pay monthly ‘Mix&Match’ plans, or to their pay-as-you-go scheme. With any of the ‘Mix&Match’ contracts the phone is free. Using pay-as-you-go will mean the phone is £69.99.
The design of the handset is a vast improvement on the previous model, with a steel back, black front and metal keys. Supplied with the handset is a cable which allows the user to hook the phone up to a laptop to enable instant internet access with broadband speeds.
