Consider Selling your Old Mobile Phone
You may be browsing the web, researching your next new mobile phone, but have you considered what to do with your old one when it has finally been replaced?
Many end up gathering dust at the back of a cupboard, but this could be costing you.
There are now several companies that will pay you for your old mobile. Companies such as Envirofone, Mazuma, Mopay and Mobile2Cash all buy old mobile phones.
So, how do I sell my mobile?
Simple – all you need to do is log on to one of the above companies’ websites and enter your handset make and model number. You then get an instant price of what they will pay you for it.
If you are happy with the price then the company will usually send you a pre-paid envelope. You simply post your phone to them and receive your cash.
Prices vary from model to model, but as an example a used Nokia N95 8GB would fetch £140 from Envirofone.
Alternatively, consider selling your phone privately. Thousands of phones sell each year on sites such as Ebay and Gumtree. If the contract on the handset has expired then it is perfectly legal and simple to unblock the phone, allowing a SIM from another network can be used.
So, it’s simple – sell your old phone. You could use the money you earn to upgrade to an even better handset!
