BlackBerry Storm at Vodafone
Fans of BlackBerry smartphones should head to Vodafone where the superb Storm is now available.
This is RIM’s first attempt at a touch screen and the results are impressive, especially as it boasts to be the UK’s first clickable touch screen. The screen actually depresses slightly when pressed and releases again with a single click.
Other features include a 3.2MP camera with auto focus and flash, 1GB of built in memory, 3G connectivity, built in GPS for sat nav and geo-tagging photos and a 3.5mm headset jack.
Business mobile phone users will be please to see that the phone comes with DataViz Documents to Go software, so MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents can be edited.
The handset also features an accelerometer, which means the screen view can switch between landscape and portrait as the handset is rotated.
The SureType keyboard is available in portrait mode and a full QWERTY keyboard is available in landscape.

International Calls – Cheapest Network Providers
If you are planning a holiday or travel on business into Europe you should pay close attention to the tariffs your network provider charges.
Prices can vary dramatically and at the time of writing the cheapest two providers are 3 and Vodafone.
3 currently charges £0.25p per minute to call the UK from most EU countries. The cost of receiving a call is £0.10p per minute. These rates are available to all 3 customers on both pay-as-you-go or contract deals.
If you are with Vodafone then you will more than likely be able to benefit from Vodafone Passport. This can be used in many European countries and allows you to talk for as long as you like for a flat fee of £0.75p per call made and received, plus your UK local call rate.
If you make long calls Vodafone Passport will almost certainly work out cheaper than 3.
